FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing proprietary fueling equipment and software, troubleshooting issues, making repairs, and training our customers on how to operate their systems. The qualified candidate will receive on-the-job training, tools & resources, and a company vehicle to carry out the functions of this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Travels to job sites to perform site surveys, diagnose equipment problems, install new equipment, and conduct service maintenance and repairs.
  • Utilizes light-duty equipment to perform tests and repairs of minor electrical connections, surface mount conduit, cabling, and hardware installations.
  • Provides customers with tools and training to successfully operate their equipment.
  • Establishes and maintains positive and satisfactory communication with customers until completion of the task.
  • Provides essential support to other departments within the organization as per direct supervisor request.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must live in the Tallahassee, FL area.
  • Available and willing to travel weekly; occasionally up to 2-3 weeks at a time.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with mechanics, electrical/electronics, computer networking, computer hardware or software, preferred.
  • Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
